New Taipei City is the most populous city of Taiwan, Republic of China. The area includes substantial stretch of Taiwan's northern coastline and surrounds the Taipei Basin, site of Taiwan's capital city Taipei. New Taipei is bordered by Yilan County on the east, Keelung on the north and Taoyuan County on the south.
