Côte d'Amour means the area of the coast of the French department of Loire-Atlantique,located between Traict Pen Bé (common Mesquer) and the mouth of the Loire(Saint-Nazaire). Bay of Sirens, Amber Coast, Blue Coast ... In 1911 a competition was organized by a week to give a name to this coastal area that had just experienced a great boom in tourism. Côte d'Amour won the votes of readers.
