Wimille prototype no. 2, 1948. Jean-Pierre Wimille's second prototype is essentially the same as prototype no. 3. Designed by Philippe Charbonneaux, this prototype was first presented at the 1948 Paris Motor Show with recessed twin headlights, then remodeled with a central "cyclops" headlight. Finally, the car was reintroduced with twin headlamps that rest on the nose.
